Originally from Sissonville, West Virginia, Jenna has called Morgantown home for nearly a decade. A former collegiate basketball player, she earned a full athletic scholarship to Ohio University—an experience that shaped the discipline, resilience, and competitive mindset she brings to every transaction. Today, she pairs that same drive with a highly personal approach, ensuring her clients feel informed, represented, and confident from the first conversation to the closing table. Before entering real estate, Jenna earned her master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Gifted Education from West Virginia University and spent four years as an educator. Her background in education sharpened one of her greatest strengths as an agent: the ability to listen, communicate clearly, anticipate needs, and guide people through complex decisions with confidence. With a strong background in marketing and a deep appreciation for presentation, she understands that exceptional properties deserve exceptional positioning. Outside of real estate, Jenna’s greatest priority is her family. She and her husband are raising their son in Morgantown, a community they have proudly called home for years. Somewhere between listing appointments, showings, closings, marketing properties, and everyday life, I realized I’ve been doing a whole lot of real estate and sharing very little of it here.

So, I think a reintroduction is overdue.

I’m Jenna Mitchell, a West Virginia REALTOR® based in Morgantown, and while this page has been a little quiet, my real estate career definitely hasn’t.

I came into this business after four years in education, bringing with me a competitive streak from my years as a collegiate basketball player and a genuine love for helping people navigate big decisions. Since then, real estate has become so much more than a career for me.

Most recently, my career has led me to the Extra Mile Team at The Agency Morgantown, a move that feels incredibly aligned with the kind of agent I want to be and the level of service I want to provide. I’m surrounded by people who believe in working hard, doing things differently, and quite literally going the extra mile for our clients.

I love the strategy behind a transaction. I love marketing a property in a way that makes someone stop scrolling. I love finding opportunities others may overlook. And most of all, I love being the person my clients know they can call when they need an answer, an opinion, a connection, or someone firmly in their corner.

My approach is pretty simple: thoughtful service, elevated marketing, strong communication, and going the extra mile every single time.

So, I’m dusting off this page. Expect beautiful homes, a little behind the scenes real estate, market insight that’s actually useful, some of my favorite places around West Virginia, and probably a little bit of my life mixed in along the way.
