A beautiful piece of Arkansas history lives right here on the mountain.

According to legend, a young French woman disguised herself as a cabin boy to follow her fiancé on an expedition. She kept her identity a secret until she became gravely ill, revealing the truth just before her death. Her final wish was to be buried atop this mountain—where she now rests, and where Petit Jean Mountain gets its name.

🛁 Then end the evening soaking in the hot tub while the string lights glow overhead.

Beaumont Cottages is looking for a dependable part-time cleaner for our A-frame cabins. Duties include cleaning cabins after guest check-out, changing linens, restocking supplies, and making sure everything is guest-ready for the next stay.

Hours are typically between 10:30 AM – 3 PM depending on check-outs. Days are not predictable, as they depend on guest departures. Must be willing to work any day of the week, including Sundays.

Pay is $75 per cabin cleaned.

While some of our cabins lean dark and moody, Cedar Falls is the light and airy one in the middle — calm, cozy, and full of sunshine.
