TASTY TUESDAY: DIP-ING INTO THE WEEK!

Why just dip your toes into Tuesday when you can DIP your chips into something delicious?!

Let’s dip into the week with an easy, cheesy, crowd-pleasing recipe that takes just a few minutes to make!

Easy Taco Dip

Ingredients:
🥛 8 oz cream cheese, softened
🥛 8 oz sour cream
🌮 1 packet taco seasoning
🧀 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
🍅 1 cup diced tomatoes
🫒 Optional: olives, jalapeños, green onions, or your favorite toppings
🥨 Tortilla chips for dipping!

How to make it:
1️⃣ Mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
2️⃣ Spread into a serving dish.
3️⃣ Sprinkle with shredded cheese and top with tomatoes and any extras you love.
4️⃣ Chill for about 30 minutes or dig in right away if you just can’t dip-ly yourself!
5️⃣ Grab your chips and DIP AWAY!

Maintenance Monday: Awareness Saves Lives

Electrical and fire safety starts with awareness. A few simple precautions can help protect you, your family, and our entire community.

🔌 DON’T overload outlets. Plugging too many devices into one outlet or power strip can cause overheating and create a serious fire hazard.

⚠️ Use extension cords safely. Do not overload extension cords or use them as a permanent source of power.

🚫 NO space heaters or portable heaters. For everyone’s safety, space heaters and heaters of any kind should NOT be plugged into outlets or extension cords. Please do not use these devices in your home.

🔥 Never use aluminum foil as a liner. Do not place aluminum foil in the bottom of your oven or use it to line stove drip pans. This can create a serious fire hazard.

🍳 Practice safe cooking habits. Never leave cooking unattended, and keep towels, paper products, curtains, and other flammable items away from the stovetop.

🔋 Check your cords and outlets. Frayed cords, damaged plugs, loose outlets, burning smells, sparks, or outlets that feel hot should never be ignored.

🛠️ Report electrical concerns. If you notice a potential electrical or fire hazard in your home, please submit a maintenance request right away.

The Woodbury TN Lions Club Fish Fry is serving up unlimited catfish, chicken, sides, desserts, and drinks TODAY from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Woodbury TN Lions Club .

Thirsty Thursday! Cool Down With a Homemade Frosty!

The temperatures are rising, but we’ve got the perfect way to help you cool down from the summer heat! Take a break, relax at home, and treat yourself to a delicious homemade frosty that’s easy to make and extra refreshing.

Grab your blender, your favorite cup, and get ready for a sweet treat that’s perfect for a hot summer day.

Homemade Frosty Recipe

Ingredients:
🥛 4 cups chocolate milk
🍦 8 ounces frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
🥫 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk
🍫 ¼ cup cocoa powder

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and well combined.
Pour the chocolate mixture into a loaf pan and place it in the freezer.
Every 30 minutes, take it out and stir or whisk the mixture before returning it to the freezer.
After about 3 hours, you’ll have the perfect thick and creamy Frosty consistency!
Scoop into a cup, grab a spoon, and enjoy!

Frosty Tip:
If it’s too frozen to scoop, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes or place it in the refrigerator to soften. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

🍪 Add crushed cookies

Directions:

Clean and dry your jar.
