Wednesday Wellness Reminder

Hot summer days are on the way, and it’s important to take extra care of yourself during the warmer months. Here are some helpful wellness tips to stay safe, healthy, and comfortable this summer:

💧 Stay Hydrated
Drink water throughout the day, even before you feel thirsty. Try to limit sugary drinks and too much caffeine, which can contribute to dehydration.

❄️ Keep Your Home Cool
Close blinds or curtains during the hottest part of the day, use fans to circulate air, and open windows in the early morning or evening when temperatures are cooler.

👕 Dress for the Heat
Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing to help your body stay cool.

🥗 Eat Light Meals
Fresh fruits, vegetables, and smaller meals can help you feel better during hot weather. Watermelon, cucumbers, and berries are great summer choices!

🚶 Be Careful Outdoors
If you need to be outside, try to go out during the morning or evening hours and take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.

💊 Pay Attention to Medications
Some medications may increase sensitivity to heat. Be sure to follow your doctor’s instructions and contact your healthcare provider if you feel dizzy, weak, or overheated.

THIRSTY THURSDAY

With these hot temperatures outside, there’s no better time to cool down with a refreshing treat! Beat the heat and celebrate Thirsty Thursday with this delicious summer mocktail perfect for sipping and relaxing with friends or neighbors.

🍹 Strawberry Lemon Fizz
What you’ll need:
• 1 cup fresh strawberries
• 2 tbsp Fresh lemon Juice
• 1 -2 tbsp Sugar, Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar
• 1/2 cup Cold Water
• 1/2 cup Soda Water or Lemon-Lime Soda
• Ice Cubes
• Lemon Slices and/or Fresh mint for garnish

Directions:

Blend Strawberries , Lemon Juice, Sugar & Water till smooth
Strain if Desired
Fill a glass with ice and pour in strawberry mixture in glass and Top with Soda Water
Stir gently and garnish with mint.

Cool, fruity, bubbly, and perfect for a hot day! Stop by and let us know if you give it a try!

SUPER SUNDAY MOTHER’S DAY TRIBUTE

Today, we pause and celebrate mothers in all their beautiful forms.

To the mothers of the past whose love still guides us, whose memories still comfort us, and whose strength shaped the lives we live today… you will be forever missed, forever cherished, and forever part of us.

To the mothers of today the ones showing up every day with tired eyes, full hearts, quiet strength, and endless love… even when no one is watching, we see you. We honor you. And we are grateful for you.

To the mothers yet to come may your journey be filled with hope, love, and the kind of joy that makes every challenge worth it.

And to the CHOSEN mothers the grandmothers, aunts, caregivers, mentors, neighbors, friends, and anyone who has stepped into a mother’s role with love… your impact is immeasurable. You are proof that motherhood is defined by love, not just biology.
