During this window, Realtor.com expects:

🏠 13.3% more active listings than an average week
👀 Buyer demand 14.4% below an average week
⏰ Homes spending close to 64 days on the market
💰 Listing prices about 3.5% below their seasonal high
📉 5.7% of homes seeing price reductions

That does not mean every house will suddenly be a bargain. Real estate is local. But it could create opportunities for buyers who are prepared and watching the market closely.

Two major Morristown development stories came out of last week’s City Council meeting. 👀

🏭 A $6.5 million sale is in the works for Lot 10 and its spec building at the East Tennessee Progress Center. The potential buyer is currently known as Project Vine.

🏘️ City Council also approved rezoning 350 Howe Road for single family homes, higher density housing, and commercial space.

Neither project is final, but both could influence local jobs, housing demand, and where Morristown grows next.
