Success stories in real estate should not just be about sales. In my opinion, the best success stories are about relationships you develop on the job. So, in honor of my friend Jaime’s birthday, I’d like to share my favorite “success” story.
About four years ago I took a random Zillow call and set an appointment to meet Jaime and his husband Adam to show them a condo. Upon meeting them I instantly knew we would be friends. From that showing we looked at several condo’s and we decided to look at homes instead. After nearly a year, we found their dream home. During that time, we did indeed become friends.
Nearly four years later and we are still great friends. We’ve taken several trips to Chicago together, saw Frozen on broadway, gone on many shopping trips, (maybe too many 🤣)we hang out at their dream home often, they’ve come to my kids soccer games, and they’ve been some of my biggest supporters in my career.
This job isn’t just about sales. It’s about helping others achieve their dreams and developing strong relationships. Because of my job, I met two of my closest friends. On the hard days, I always remind myself it’s worth it because my job allowed me to meet them.
So join me in wishing my friend Jaime a Happy Birthday! I couldn’t be more grateful to have him and Adam in my life. Happy birthday, Jaime! 🎉
