We have an exciting announcement. Yes, WE!

Juan Albaitero Rosales is Blue Sky Real Estate's and Moscow, Idaho's newest agent! He has joined the Latah County Board of Realtors.

Juan was born in Mexico City, and raised in Cuernavaca, Mexico. His father was a civil engineer and construction company owner, so he grew up around construction and became familiar with construction trades and contracting from an early age. Much of Juan's professional career has been spent directing archaeological fieldwork in Mexico, where he founded a successful ecotourism business that operated for over 15 years.

In 2009, he relocated to the United States, and resided in the Portland-Vancouver area. Juan has lived in Moscow, ID since 2019. He's the proud father of 3, and the youngest, Mateo, lives here in Moscow. Juan's familiarity with the local Palouse terrain spans beyond his background in archaeology and construction. He and Mateo enjoy spending time outdoors by white water rafting, climbing, skiing, and mountain biking. Juan enjoys travelling and trying new cuisines across the globe. Juan loves living in Moscow, and serves his community as a volunteer on the Palouse Prairie Charter School Board as well as the City of Moscow's Fair & Affordable Housing Commission.

Climate change is very real, and the unfortunate consequences of these fires change the quality of life significantly.

GWEN FIRE EVACUATION UPDATE – KENDRICK NOW LEVEL 2

With changing fire behavior, all of Kendrick is now on a level 2 evacuation. Fires are south of Kendrick and moving east at this time. Level 2 evacuations are in effect for the following areas:

Eastern border of Zone 2 by major roadway:
- State Highway 3 at Cedar Ridge Road.

Northern borders of Zone 2 by major roadway:
- State Highway 99 at American Ridge Road.
- Little Bear Ridge Road at Brocke Road.

All those now being placed in a level 2 evacuation should be ready to leave at a moment’s notice and this may be your final notification.

Level 3 evacuations have not changed for Juliaetta at this time.
