If you follow these steps, you’ll be able to maximize your home’s sale price and get the most profit possible.

Here’s what to do to sell your home for the most:

1. Make strategic repairs that have high ROI–I can help with this!

2. Take out the clutter and personal items. Your goal is to make your home a place where buyers can easily envision themselves living.

3. Stage your home to show off its best features and highlight its selling points. Staging is 100% worth it if you want to sell for top dollar.

4. Prep before each showing and make your home as lovely and cozy as possible. Scent is a big one here, and I have some tried-and-true ways to make your home smell amazing!

5. List your home at the right price. This is KEY to selling for top dollar, so make sure you base your home’s sales price on real market data and trends, not what you want it to sell for.

Every real estate agent has different skills, strengths, and interests.

Some agents are amazing at selling homes and understanding the market. Others are great at negotiating and getting the best deal for their clients.

Some agents are super peppy, while others are just as excited to help you, but are more chilled.

You get the picture: every agent is different!

That’s why it’s so important to find the best agent for you and your needs. You need to find an agent who has the experience you need and you can trust.

If you're anything like me, you love to feel cozy, especially as the seasons shift in late fall and early winter. Most buyers also love those cozy feelings at this time of year.

As a result, making your home feel cozy can make buyers feel more comfortable in your home and have more positive thoughts about it.

So keep your home at a nice, warm temperature for showings! It’s worth the few extra dollars to bump your thermostat up a few degrees to help buyers think that your home is inviting and homey.
