Today was about so much more than closing a real estate transaction. It was about family, friendship, faith, risk, and legacy.
In 1994, the Tyler family took a huge leap and purchased the 20-unit apartment building at 116 E Hill Ave for $460,000. At the time, some strangers and friends called it βa dumpβ and thought they were crazy for buying it. But they saw potential where others saw problems, and they had the courage to invest in something they believed could create a better future for their family.
Now, 32 years later, that decision has paid for itself an estimated seven to eight times over before deciding to sell. Today, the property officially closed for $2,475,000.
What makes this moment especially meaningful to me is the relationship behind it. The Tyler family has supported my business since the very beginning, and I will never take that trust for granted. It is incredible to think that an interaction with someone when you are just a child can eventually lead to an opportunity like this. Helping their family close such an important chapter while protecting and honoring the legacy they worked decades to build.
The story of 116 E Hill is a powerful reminder that the investments people question today can become the decisions that change a familyβs future. What was once called βa dumpβ became an incredible asset, a lasting legacy, and proof of what patience, hard work, and vision can accomplish.
Congratulations to the entire Tyler family. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to play a small role in this remarkable story. I am truly honored and grateful. Excited to see the adventures you go on next.
