📣 The PSC has finally approved a revised schedule for the MPRP case.📣

Importantly, the Commission did not simply accept PSEG’s proposed timeline. It preserved more time for parties to respond to testimony and declined to compress the public-hearing period after concerns were raised about meaningful participation.

We appreciate the PSC listening to those concerns and making these important adjustments.

You can read the PSC order here: https://tinyurl.com/3eftdz3x

See the updated schedule below, and stay tuned as we continue to share what comes next.

We're asking the Supreme Court to defend your right to sue the government for violating your constitutional rights. Garnell Walls tried to build a well & sewer system on his rural MD property. The county denied his permits—then said he couldn't sue until he first petitioned the legislature.

In 2019, Walls applied for a waiver to build interim well and sewer systems on his land in Brandywine. Prince George's County, Maryland rejected his application, then told him to petition the county legislature to reclassify his property before any court would hear him.

Walls sued on Fifth Amendment grounds because the County had taken the potential use for his property without compensation. The County convinced district and circuit courts to dismiss his case, arguing that Walls couldn’t sue until after he had petitioned the legislature.

Property owners shouldn’t have to exhaust local political processes before vindicating their rights in federal court. We represent Garnell Walls at no cost to defend his property rights and right to access court.
