HomeServices agreed to a settlement in the lawsuit which covers our franchises and agents. It's too bad as there is no admission of guilt but eliminates a long drawn out ordeal. New laws will include a buyers agreement BEFORE showing buyer a house.

I asked Mandy from Remine to send specifics on how to have clients sign their own name when signing for an entity, such as LLC or Trust. Important that the correct party signs so ask for paper certification if you feel the need, it's on your shoulders to have the right party signing for an entity. Please confirm you have read this post!

Step 5 in this support article explains how the client signs their name rather than the LLC and there is a short video in the article too 😊

Please don't try to answer questions about the NAR lawsuit and how it affects our clients. Business as usual for now until we receive new guidelines.

Just remember, if asked, there is no "normal" commission. That would be price-fixing and illegal as part of the antitrust act. Each broker sets policy on commission and co-broke commission split, if any. Our seller client agrees to pay our policy commission regardless if a buyer's agent is involved but we are obligated to tell our seller if we are offering co-broke or not.
