Our family found this property in 1930, and we have loved it ever since. The rustic cabin and cozy house are nestled in a fragrant balsam forest where deer come to graze, and chipmunks collect acorns for the cold winters. Both houses overlook the bay, where the water beckons for a kayak trip, sunrise meditation, or moonlight sail. Pretty Marsh is on the outskirts of Acadia National Park. We are a

stone's throw (or 20 minute drive) from hikes, swimming holes, and cute harbor towns. Curl up with a good book by the fireplace, take a strenuous mountain hike and then descend for a Popover at Jordan Pond House, canoe through calm waters, or explore the cute shops and great restaurants the neighboring towns have to offer.
