JUST SOLD | 524 Burgess Rd, Mt. Juliet

Some closings are about so much more than buying a home. This is one of those stories.

Our buyers went through more than their share of challenges trying to get here. Several failed contracts on the sale of their home caused them to lose homes they hoped to purchase along the way. At times, it was hard to understand why things weren’t working out.

But God had something better waiting.

We found a home just minutes from family, something they never thought would be possible, and it checked virtually every box. Several acres, a chicken coop with chickens, a big tree out front just waiting for kids to climb, a shop, another outbuilding, and plenty of room for this young family of three, soon to be four, to grow and make memories.

This transaction was also filled with some incredible people. The LaFevers Team Re/Max Carriage House Realtors , who represented the sellers, were an absolute joy to work with and helped make the transaction incredibly smooth from start to finish. A huge thank you as well to Andy Garretson - Your Mortgage Guy with Legends Bank for doing an outstanding job on the lending side and Greg Vadner with Lenders Title Company Tennessee for helping us get everything across the finish line.

Sometimes what feels like a setback is simply God redirecting us toward something better. Everything happened in His perfect timing.

🍎 SPEND AN EVENING AT BREEDEN’S ORCHARD

Breeden's Orchard is much more than an orchard. Grab something from the market and bakery, let the kids enjoy the Activity Yard, or plan an evening around one of their special events. This Thursday, September 17, features Pizza Night along with a Writers Round of live original music, cider, donuts and campfires. And September 19–20 is their Apple Celebration weekend.

🎬 CATCH A MOVIE UNDER THE STARS

There’s still something special about an old-fashioned drive-in. Stardust Drive-In Theatre has been bringing that experience to Watertown since 2003, combining the nostalgia of a classic drive-in with modern movie presentation. Load up the car, grab some popcorn and enjoy a movie under the stars.

🚂 RIDE THE TRAIN TO WATERTOWN

Here’s one you may not have tried. The Tennessee Central Railway Museum operates vintage passenger train excursions from Nashville to Watertown. The ride itself is part of the experience, followed by time in Watertown for lunch, shopping and exploring the Square.

And there’s one coming up Saturday, September 19: the popular Train Robbery excursion to Watertown. This one is already sold out, but additional Watertown excursions are scheduled this fall, including the Fall Yard Sale, Wine Tasting and Fall Foliage trips.

Orchard nights. Drive-in movies. Vintage train rides. All right here in Wilson County.
