A few months ago I posted my quote about pursuing client satisfaction. Words are easy to type or say but doing what you preach is much tougher. I strive to do that, sometimes successully and sometimes not. The last 40 years I focused on developing and leasing office space. Lots of successful commerical deals, each with their own story with interesting people, but nonetheless just deals.
The last 10 years I honed in on providing commercial homes for small businesses and professionals. The latter has been incredibly fulfilling. You meet driven and hard working individuals with their own dreams and aspirations. You get to know some well enough where the relationship goes beyond the business transaction and I can proudly call them friends. I have to say it's very satisfying, the more so when you see them become successful. Some struggle and go through hard times and I always try to accommodate them too. That's what they mean when they say it's about relationships. I have a ton of testimonials on google and even here on Linkedin that speak to that. However, there are some that go above and beyond, which is very humbling.
This one I have just posted coming last week out of the blue from a tenant when we owned Ibis Plaza, in Hamilton, New Jersey. It warms the heart knowing I was able to help someone by doing what I do best, providing a professional home for small businesses.
