Congratulations to The Kirkland Family on their new condo purchase in NJ. Mr Kirkland came in after having a bear of a tme with Bank of America, his bank. He worked with them for 4 weeks. They could not help him. He was frustrated but his amazing realtor Lindsay Mancini of KW Greater Brunswick refered him to Petra Cephas Mortgage Brokers and as you can see it was not that hard, we closed him in less time than BofA worked with him to tell him they could not help him.
Sometimes what is really difficult to do at your bank (a mortgage) is really easy at my brokerage.
Mr Kirkland had a 20 min phone con with me, I asked him the questions and he answered them, his application was then completed, we then asked him to stop in the office with his cell phone and 2 hrs later his disclosures were signed and all his income, asset, and ID docs were turned in and 13 days later, he was cleared to close.
He told me he was scared, he never purchased a home, his friends all told him he was crazy. I told him we will help you and by the end of the process he was signing disclosures on his own and sending in emails and docs on his own....He grew, we all benefited and all parties were happy. I then told him tewll your story to the freinds that make fun of you and see what happens 5 yrs from now when they are satill renting and you own and are building wealth.
