🤩Providing exceptional service When deciding on a major in college, my parents suggested I choose engineering so I could utilize my math abilities and analytical skills. I remember being surrounded
by hundreds of aspiring engineers when a Clemson Professor warned us that most of us would not graduate from the Department of Engineering. Fast forward almost 20 years later, and not only did I have a Clemson Engineering Degree hanging on my wall, but I also had a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Citadel, and a Professional Engineering License. Throughout my career as an engineer I supervised interns and technicians, managed environmental compliance and emergency response programs for a large industrial facility, traveled to several facilities throughout the U.S. as an environmental compliance auditor, and performed environmental assessments/solutions of industrial and commercial properties throughout the Charleston, SC area. I yearned to take a risk, to do something with my career that would fill me with passion and utilize my strengths. I spent countless hours interviewing people who I looked up to, and journaling about what I love to do. I realized that I love to analyze people's needs, read about economic data trends, and I even love to negotiate. After all of these years, it finally occurred to me that success is not a direct result of just hard work. Rather, success comes from the stuff that makes you feel uncomfortable, that makes your heart race with excitement, that makes you wonder whats possible. With that realization I left my engineering job to pursue a career in real estate. Under the brokerage of Keller Williams, I started Mt. Pleasant Dream Homes so I could represent buyers and sellers with the same level of dedication and respect I showed to my engineering clients. Currently I have been working as a full-time Realtor for several years. I still work hard, maybe even harder than when I was an engineer, but I often feel like my work doesn't even feel like work. I love educating others about real estate and helping my clients to build wealth and find their dream homes!
