Full weekends make my heart happy. Even with the rain, we still managed to keep the plans moving forward & somehow enjoyed every minute. Ran the IOP connector race which is hands down one of the most scenic races in Charleston with beautiful water views, an easy to navigate start line, & either sweltering heat or rain…we got rain this year. Then spent time at my home away from home, Shipyard. I can’t imagine spending it any other way…& capped it off with some good food, good friends & a dip in the Wando.

Everyone’s mourning summer, but Charleston is just hitting her prime 🍂☀️
The air’s cooler, the light’s softer, and the whole city feels like it’s exhaling. If you’re looking for a good way to get outside, there’s plenty of places to run — and this is one of my favorites.
My route: park at Harris Teeter on Coleman Boulevard, then run straight down the Sullivan’s Island Connector toward the beach and back. About six miles of coastal views, marsh grass, and that perfect fall breeze off the water 🌊
Running outside is one of my favorite things about fall — no treadmill, no walls, just sky and salt air. 🏃‍♂️💨

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market wrapped up its season this past Tuesday 🍂 But don’t worry — the Christmas market is coming!
The 27th Annual Holiday Market & Craft Show is Saturday, December 12, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Farmers Market Pavilion on Coleman Boulevard. Expect handcrafted ornaments, glasswork, pottery, photography, original art, homemade holiday treats, and fresh seasonal goodies — plus live entertainment, balloon art, caricature drawings, and a visit from Santa himself! 🎅✨
Admission and parking are free, and it’s all outdoors. How cool is it that we still get to have farmers markets in December outside, because of where we live? 🌴☀️
