I began my career in journalism and went on to provide marketing and communication services to Fortune 500 companies. If you’ve ever suffered insomnia or enjoyed shopping from your sofa, you may have seen me on TV during my 13 years as a guest host on QVC, the home shopping network. As an advocate for better child protection laws, I formed a political action committee and continue to raise public

awareness. I also serve on the board of Savvy Giving By Design’s Charleston chapter, a nonprofit that helps children who are going through a medical crisis.
