Here’s your mid week update on the Charleston market:

We now have 1,831 active residential listings! This number is up from the low 1,400’s a couple of months ago and does not include rentals, vacant land, or multi family properties. It’s a long way from the number of listings we need, but it’s a move in the right direction. If you were on the fence about selling, you now have slightly more options in terms of your next home 😎

Interest rates are still amazingly low, with many buyers securing 30 year mortgages with rates under 3%. Even though inventory is limited and home prices have increased, the low rates are helping maintain affordability for many. If you’re thinking about buying, there has never been a better time to borrow 💰

While every other Realtor out there is telling you how amazing Charleston is, I feel like you all deserve to know the downsides as well. 😆

1. Charleston is Hot AF right now🔥
2. Do not ever expect your hair to stay straight.
3. We have great food, but you’ll need a gym membership if you want to stay at your current weight.
4. Insects the size of birds 🦅
5. You will actually need to work sunscreen into your budget.
6. Cute heels and our sidewalks are a recipe for disaster. You will now only wear flats.

Seriously though, I LOVE IT HERE!

Inspection Day has arrived for this home! This property is by far one of the most unique that I have sold.

The entire estate is made up of 200+ acres of farmland, a hunting retreat, and of course this beautiful farmhouse.
