Julie Nims is thrilled to join forces with Coldwell Banker Realty and lead Red Door Property Group. She lives in Mount Pleasant, just outside of downtown Charleston with her husband, two daughters, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, two Persian cats, and a bearded dragon. mains loyal to her "Washington Football Team," Nationals, and Capitals, she couldn't be happier to call the Charleston area her home. Julie first developed her love of real estate as a child, going through the buying and selling process with her parents seven times before finishing college. After attending the College of William and Mary (Go Tribe!), Julie spent six years expanding her knowledge of real estate at an investment/servicing firm that specialized in real property tax liens, gaining expertise in all areas of the business, from acquisitions to asset management to REO disposition. Although she enjoyed her work in the tax lien industry, she wanted a chance to make a difference in people's lives, so she took a job with the U.S. Department of the Treasury and spent the next five years working on a team that helped the country navigate through the turbulent seas of the economic crisis of the late-2000s to the calmer waters of economic recovery. After Treasury, Julie wanted to get back to her roots in real estate, but she also wanted a career that allowed her to continue making a positive impact on other people's lives. What better way to do that than to help her clients achieve their real estate-related goals, whether those goals are buying a home that perfectly suits their needs or maximizing profits by selling a home for the best price possible?
