Looking for a fun family adventure during the week? From June 17 through August 27, children ages 12 and under ride FREE with every fare-paying adult (ages 13+) every Wednesday and Thursday on our Northbound Colgate Grove Excursions!

Climb aboard for a one-hour diesel-powered round trip through the scenic Aughwick Valley. Choose from our enclosed coach, open-air, or cinder car seating and enjoy a railroad experience the whole family will love.

Want to make a day of it? Add a 90-minute picnic layover at Colgate Grove and relax beneath the shade trees and picnic pavilions before catching the return train back to Rockhill Furnace.

❄️ Winter Excursions Are Coming to the East Broad Top Railroad ❄️

Following our Winter Spectacular, we’re excited to continue the season with Winter Excursions, beginning Saturday, February 21.

These wintertime train rides will operate on Saturdays through March 28, leading right into the start of Easter on the Rails. 🐣 The excursion offers families a chance to experience the East Broad Top during a quieter, more relaxed time of year and enjoy the winter views of the Aughwick Valley.

Winter excursions provide a different kind of visit. Peaceful winter scenery, and the opportunity to enjoy the railroad at an unhurried pace. These trains will be powered by diesel.

⏰ Departure times will be 10:00 AM and Noon.
