A little history! It is well known that the James Bailey estate (Barnum & Bailey) was located next to what became on what is now Vernon Manor. After Bailey died early in the 20th century the mansion sat unused. In 1920 this ad appeared to sell the house and the surrounding 35 acres. It was sold and divided up by the Bailey Park company and the first two Park Lane buildings were constructed in 1928.
