Our guests have been SO BLESSED by the compassion, love and faithful service shown to them by our lunch volunteers. Food is critical to our ministry, but relationships are even more critical!

HOPE FOR RESCUE!!!

After two months of contact through our Search and Rescue program, we received a call from a friend that the young man who was staying here was ready to enter shelter!

We recently asked you to pray for this young man and the Lord answered! We immediately went onto location, confirmed his desire to try shelter (knew him by name and talked through his concerns) and helped transport him to Lifeboat.

Today he was able to clean up, get laundry done, have a delicious dinner and is settling into his room. We don’t yet know the outcome and it may take several attempts at shelter to make life change, but this shows the importance of street/woods outreach and building relationships!

Also, big thanks to our friends at Family Life Shelter for being ready and willing to assist if needed!

God is good! Stay tuned!!!

Kathy made ham and cheese sliders! Yum!!!

The BEST part was one of our guest moms was brave enough to say prayer for everyone! It’s amazing what the Lord opens up through relationships!
