🏡 TITLE TIP TUESDAY: The Fence Isn’t Always the Property Line! 👀

That fence in the backyard may look like the boundary of the property… but looks can be deceiving.

Property lines are determined by the legal description and survey information, not necessarily by where a fence, driveway, shed, or landscaping happens to be.

Why does this matter? A survey may reveal things like:

📍 A fence sitting over the property line
🚗 A driveway crossing onto neighboring property
🏠 A shed or structure extending across a boundary
🌳 Differences between what you thought you were buying and the actual property lines

The takeaway: Never assume what you see on the ground tells the whole story.

That’s one reason the title and closing process involves looking beyond just the house itself. 🏡🔍
