TEXT TO 911 is now available in Elmore County!
Starting today, you will be able to Text to 911 in the event of an emergency and you are not able to place a voice call. While making a voice call to 911 is still the best way to summon emergency help, Text to 911 is a critical tool for those unable to speak, who are hearing-impaired or have a speech disability. It also provides a silent alternative in cases such as domestic abuse, child abduction, home invasion or an active shooter situation.
