I had the privilege of finding one of the most wonderful couples their new home, as well as selling their existing one! These guys have a special place in my heart, as the first house that I had sold in New Jersey had been to them. Since purchasing their home, life has been good for them and it was now time for the next step in their life. They had decided to sell that house and find their forever home, naturally, they called me. Selling their house was the easy part. Finding them what they wanted and closing the deal was the more difficult half. I am happy to say both parts have been completed, and they will be celebrating an awesome summer with friends and family at their new home by the poolside.
Buying a property in today's market can be very frustrating, especially with bidding wars on every house. You need to know what you want, be patient, and understand the market. This is why you need a Realtor with whom you click, you may be working with them for a while. Finding a house is only part of the deal, getting an offer to stand out amongst all the rest and getting it accepted is the next trick. This is why you need an experienced Realtor. Not only should they know real estate and be able to point out pluses and minuses of the properties being viewed, but also one who has the knowledge and the ability to get the deal closed, one who makes sure that all goes smoothly, and that everyone is on the same page, and no matter what is happening can figure a way to the closing table.
