This oneโs extra special โ and emotional & deserves a special title.
โจ She pliรฉโd out of NJ and jetรฉโd into Switzerland โ and I got to help choreograph the exit. โจ
Deanna and I have been dance friends for over 20 years. From pirouettes to plies, and shuffles to buffalos, weโve shared a stage (and many laughs) for most of our adult lives. So when she told me she was moving to Switzerland for an incredible new job opportunity, it felt like hearing your friend had just been cast in a fairytale.
But hereโs the thing they donโt tell you about fairytales: thereโs a LOT of packing, paperwork, and decision-making behind the magic.
Deanna had to figure out whether to sell or rent the home she loved. I was honored when she asked me to help her sort through those options. After thoughtful strategy sessions, she made the decision to market it both ways and see where the dance takes us.
45 days ago, she was knee-deep in boxes, movers, and bubble wrap โ and somehow, we still managed to get her home photographed, listed, and under contract in one week. I donโt recommend this level of chaos for everyone, but if anyone could handle it with grace and a sense of humor, itโs Deanna.
Today, that beautiful home officially has new owners, and they are absolutely thrilled to call it theirs.
Deanna โ thank you for trusting me during such a HUGE life transition. Iโm so proud of what we accomplished together (even if DHL and the water department gave us some drama along the way โ you know what I mean!๐คฃ).
