After a full week of observation, testing, evaluation, and several highly scientific quality control procedures (mostly me being overly picky), I think it's finally safe to make this announcement...

Please help me welcome the newest member of the Fisher Inspections team!

We intentionally waited a week before introducing him because around here, "good enough" has never been the standard. We wanted to make sure he could keep up with the attention to detail, professionalism, communication, and high expectations that our clients have come to expect.

So far, he's survived the training, the long days, the endless questions, and my perfectionist tendencies. That's a pretty solid start.

We're excited about what this means for the future of Fisher Inspections and, most importantly, how it helps us continue providing the thorough inspections and service our clients deserve.

Still months of training to come but we are off to a great start!!

Important morning meeting with the inspection team.

Today's agenda included:

✅Evaluating the structural integrity of pancakes

✅Moisture testing the biscuits and gravy

✅Determining if the coffee supply meets current industry standards

✅Identifying any visible defects in the breakfast casserole

After a thorough inspection, only minor deficiencies were noted. Recommended repairs include ordering dessert.

Inspecting another house in Danville built in the 1800s…

It was built much closer to the signing of the Declaration of Independence than today! Crazy and it is in great condition!

Just imagine carrying laundry down into that basement though 😬

After inspecting hundreds of homes, I can confidently say one thing…

Chimneys are probably my LEAST favorite part of a house. 😂

Not because they aren’t important but because I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a “perfect” chimney.

They take a beating year after year from rain, snow, heat, freezing temperatures, and constant expansion and contraction. Brick cracks, mortar deteriorates, flashing separates, crowns crack… the list goes on.

And the crazy part? Most chimney problems start small and go unnoticed until they turn into expensive repairs.

The best thing homeowners can do is stay ahead of the maintenance. Having the chimney professionally

The biggest enemy of a chimney is WATER. Once moisture gets in, damage usually follows.

A little maintenance now can prevent a major repair later.
