I know there's been lot of discussions from first time home buyers saying that they are priced out of the Seattle market. Seattle Market, maybe. But not the surrounding areas.
Greater Seattle rental rates are going up at about the same rate as house prices. This means that your potential mortgage payment could actually be around the same amount as your current rent.
