I get it. It can be super pricey, but most of the time it is worth it! If your property is vacant, at the minimum it's worth a conversation about staging for at least listing photos.

Not every house has to be your forever. Sometimes you luck into that, sometimes you buy a home with the plan of upgrading, building equity, eventually making mailbox money down the road.
