The girls, the hubs and I enjoy going to zoos, aquariums, and anything else to do with animals! We really like the Bear Den Zoo near our home in Waterford and Green Meadows Farm, a short trip away in Waterford/East Troy area. I also enjoy being outside at parks, playgrounds, etc. and playing volleyball with my husband and friends. As a family we brew our own beer (we love to share so just ask)! Jake and I also enjoy going to La Crosse a few times a year with our wonderful Blueshirt family!

Here’s the way I see it: if I wouldn’t give the advice to my best friend sitting across from me at the coffee shop, I will never give it to you.

I’ve had people tell me about agents who said whatever it took to get the signature and collect the check.

And I genuinely could not sleep at night if that was me.

I used to think success in real estate looked one specific way (aka being a top producer who sells hundreds of homes per year).

Turns out, I was trying to build someone else's dream business.

Then I realized my dream business looks like this: clients who feel genuinely taken care of, a schedule that lets me show up for my kids, Door County trips without the guilt, and a career I'd actually choose again.

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me they were "almost ready" to buy their first home... I could probably buy the house myself.

Here's what I've noticed after working with a lot of first-time buyers . The ones who kept waiting for the perfect moment are still waiting.

But the ones who called me and said "I don't even know if I'm ready but can we just talk" have the keys to their very own home.

One of the things I talk about with sellers is this:

Buyers don’t walk into your home and see it the way you do. They don’t have the same emotional connection that you have to your home.

They’re trying to picture themselves living there. They want to see if it flows well and feels right.

That’s why I always do a walkthrough before we list. I help you create a plan to bring that “model home” feeling to your space. It’s a small step that makes a really big difference when it comes to how long it takes for your home to sell and how much money you get out of it.
