Recently had to move mom from Covington in west TN to Murfreesboro. Little Guys Movers out of Mboro did the pick-up and drop off. Everything went smoothly. Reasonably priced for the service provided. If you need to hire some movers these guys can get it done. If another need arises these are the guys I'll call.

Met with a seller today behind on payments who is unfortunately upside down when you consider the mortgage balance and condition of the house. It's a sad situation but I believe we can still help. The plan is list the property on the MLS to see if any offers come in high enough to cover the balance.. If not, then we can work a short sale, which is better than let the house go into foreclosure. If you know of anyone in a similar situation pls reach out to me. We will do our best to help.

Here's a property we bought directly from the seller about a month ago. The fence was too close to the back door yet several feet away from the rear property line. My guess is the builder back in 2001 didn't want to spend the money to build a retaining wall and bring in dirt to level the back of the lot. So, we built a wall out of rock and brought in three loads of back fill to level the yard then planted posts near the new rock wall for the fence that will go in next week. It allowed us to moved the fence back about seven feet. We go the extra mile to make sure things are done correctly:)

I just received a call from a lady who asked if I'm the guy the bought her house in LaVergne TN a couple months ago. I told I'm not the guy but I would help her any way that I could. Seems the lady was trying to finance a car purchase and it turned up on her credit report that she still was on the hook for the house she sold. She didn't have an any records pertaining to the sale of the house so I asked her which title company handled the transaction. She said they didn't close at a title company, they signed the paperwork at her kitchen table... and the buyer didn't leave her a copy of what she signed.. I looked on the tax records to see who had bought the house and it turns out it was a local investor known for screwing folks over.. I suspect he bought the property sub2 and didn't bother explaining things to her.. Very sad that we have people in this world that will do folks dirty just for a few more dollars in their pocket.. The moral of this story is vet who you do business with. Make sure they have a solid reputation and ALWAYS USE A TITLE COMPANY WHEN BUYING OR SELLING REAL ESTATE!!!

Been spending some time up in Wichita with our daughter and grand kids lately. The grand kids call me "Big Daddy" for some reason.. They picked up this sign the last time we were up there. It definitely seems appropriate from a home repairs stand point...lol. We have seriously considered opening a branch of Provision Homes, LLC up there as well. As with all things time will tell..
