When you see this status, it’s a big milestone in the home-buying journey 🏡 This is the same process that I’ve gone through in becoming a homeowner.

Submitted to underwriting means your lender is taking a deep dive into the full loan file—income, assets, credit, and the property itself—to make sure everything meets lending guidelines.

What buyers should know:
🎯This is a normal and necessary step
🎯Underwriting often leads to conditional approval (a “yes, with a few final items”)
🎯Requests for documents are common—quick responses help keep things moving
