π‘ Hot Take: Your Home Doesnβt Need 5 Different Floors. π³π² (I know. Shocker!)
When it comes to flooring, less is more.
In most homes, 2 types of flooring is ideal. Maybe 3 at the absolute most.
βοΈ Main living areas: keep it consistent for flow
βοΈ Bedrooms: same or complementary
βοΈ Bathrooms/Laundry: practical, moisture-friendly option
Too many transitions can make a home feel choppy and smaller than it actually is. (And personally drives me a little crazy π₯΄) Clean lines and continuity almost always win β especially for resale. π
Design trends come and go⦠but cohesive flooring photographs better, shows better, and sells better.
