🏡 Hot Take: Your Home Doesn’t Need 5 Different Floors. 😳😲 (I know. Shocker!)

When it comes to flooring, less is more.

In most homes, 2 types of flooring is ideal. Maybe 3 at the absolute most.

✔️ Main living areas: keep it consistent for flow
✔️ Bedrooms: same or complementary
✔️ Bathrooms/Laundry: practical, moisture-friendly option

Too many transitions can make a home feel choppy and smaller than it actually is. (And personally drives me a little crazy 🥴) Clean lines and continuity almost always win — especially for resale. 🏠

Design trends come and go… but cohesive flooring photographs better, shows better, and sells better.
