Happy Resurrection Day! The event that changed everything. For 1500 years before the crucifixion only the high priests were allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies where God’s presence dwelt and even then only one day a year on the Day of Atonement. The sins of the Israelites were placed onto a bull before it was sacrificed and blood spilled out. When the priest went in to sprinkle the blood on the Mercy Seat on top of the ark if there was any unconfessed sin in his life he would fall down dead. The second that Jesus died on the cross the veil shielding the Holy of Holies was ripped from top to bottom. Jesus made a way for Jew and Gentile to enter into the presence of God. He made a way for me and you. 2000 years before we were created. May you know the salvation that was purchased for you and celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Blessings to you all.
