Cheers to 15 years!
Fewer than 25% of licensed real estate agents make it past year two.
Fifteen years later, still standing — and still abundantly grateful
In 2008 I left a disappointing internship experience in Washington DC. I cried on the plane ride home and asked God to point me in the new direction of a career where I would be empowered to help others.
One month later, I was hired as the office coordinator for a Foreclosure Broker. That position consistently challenged me and presented numerous opportunities to be of service to others. But, ultimately I couldn’t shake the desire to leave the administrative side of Real Estate and step boldly into the role of an Affiliate Broker.
August 31, 2011 my Tennessee Real Estate Affiliate Broker license became active.
Andrew and I had just purchased our first home . We had a Five year-old daughter and more dreams than we could contain.🫶🏾
Ambition and faith were our greatest resources.
The odds were stacked against us.
It’s a good thing we never believed the nay sayers. 🫶🏾
