"You're not at all like most Realtors we've worked with" is the most common comment I get from my clients, and it is music to my ears! Gone are the expectations of the stereotypical real estate agent. I am here to work for you, putting your needs first, and helping to ensure your transaction is as stress-free as possible. Buying and selling real estate can have its ups and downs, but in the end yo
u should feel the decisions you made were well-informed, thought through, and beneficial to you. As a buyers' agent I try very hard to focus in on your primary needs – location, price, size, amount of land - and then your desires – open floor plan, lots of trees, larger rooms. I will not show you homes that are way above your price range, or homes that don’t fulfill your needs. When showing the property I will not push you to buy, but rather honestly point out the positives and negatives about the home and how they pertain to your situation. All in all, my goal is to help you find the house that best fits your needs, your ability, and your personality. I would much rather spend more time looking and receive pleasing post-closing phone calls, instead of rushing you into a purchase and dealing with issues long past the closing date. As a sellers' agent I am straight forward with current market data and the reality that is selling your home. I don’t “fluff” things up to make it sound wonderful. Sometimes it makes more sense for you to stay in your home and not sell, and I’m okay with that. I can assist with my professional advice on small repairs or updates that might help in selling your home faster, but respect your decisions on what you are able to do in preparing your home for sale, and will inform you of how those decisions could affect the sale of your home. I look at listing your home from a buyer's perspective so you are aware of what the selling points and pitfalls are or could be, and am honest in assessing a realistic value for your home. I prefer to work together with my clients when it comes to the negotiation phase, using my expertise to inform them of their options and support their final decision. I try to alleviate the stress and make sure both buyers and sellers are seeing the big picture and aren't missing out on a great sale or purchase due to a minor issue. Organization, communication, and coordination are most important once the contract is completed and turned over to the lender and/or Title Company. These are my strengths and what previous clients have appreciated most in previous transactions. I don’t just turn it over to someone else to take care of. I follow that file daily to be advised of what is happening, and I will try to warn you against pitfalls as well as keep you abreast of what is going on during escrow. I am always available for questions via email and phone, and can work my schedule around yours when it comes to showings, inspections, and closing times and dates. My many years of experience has been focused on larger tracts of land, equestrian properties, and residential homes, both new and existing. I moved from out of state and remember the uncertainties that come with that. I have lived in Rutherford County for 18 years and have thoroughly explored the surrounding counties (Williamson, Davidson, Bedford, Maury, Wilson, Cannon and Coffee) since working in real estate. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your real estate needs whether you are relocating from out of state, downsizing, or looking for a life change.
