Once that first step is out of the way, buyers should make a list of their must-haves and non-negotiables.

Here's a quick snapshot of the July 2026 market report for Murphy, y'all! Data is taken from multiple platforms, but this gives you an idea that we are in more of a buyer's market in this region. More inventory, and more average days on market isn't a bad thing at all! The market doesn't lie, and through all the ups and downs in the real estate world, the market we are currently in is completely normal.

2020- 2023 presented us with one of the craziest market conditions many of us have seen. Everyone was suddenly getting their real estate license, and a lot those who did during that time are no longer practicing.
