Now this is why we offer lodging in Murphysboro, IL! When you are the BBQ capital of Illinois, have Pat's BBQ right down the street and an amazing ice cream shop like Small Town Scoop & Eatery, this can be created. Its more than just the outdoors around here. Be sure to check out Murphysboro Main Street and enjoy your stay!

Sweet Cornbread & Candied Brisket Sundae. We start with our Sweet Cornbread Ice Cream and top it with hot caramel sauce, maple syrup and a light dusting of Pat’s BBQ Sweet n Spicy Rub. Then comes the star of the show—beef brisket from Pat’s BBQ that we’ve candied for the perfect sweet, smoky, savory topping.

We finish the whole thing with our house-made whipped cream and one final sprinkle of that Sweet n Spicy Rub.
