Sometimes the biggest opportunities begin with a phone call you almost don’t believe. This one became the highest sale ever recorded at Cambridge at Somerset in Litchfield by the Sea.
The same day I closed on Breakers Reef 12C, Trey Lee called and asked our team to help with an opportunity he had earned simply by building a relationship and showing up. From buyer representation and negotiations to preparing another property for market, this transaction became a true collaboration built on trust, communication, and a shared commitment to our clients.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Unit 107 at Cambridge at Somerset in Litchfield by the Sea has officially transferred to new ownership as the highest sale ever recorded in the history of Cambridge.
Part of what made this opportunity so special was the property itself. As one of the highly sought-after first-floor wedge units at Cambridge, it offers a unique floor plan with an expansive wraparound covered balcony, direct ground-level access from the rear of the building, and a layout that rarely becomes available. Opportunities to acquire properties like this are few and far between, making this record-setting sale even more meaningful.
One of the most rewarding parts of this transaction is that every side of the deal was represented by Coldwell Banker Sea Coast professionals. It’s a great example of the culture we’ve worked to build—one where collaboration outweighs competition, resources are shared, and the client’s best interests always come first. Transactions like this don’t happen by chance. They happen because good people are willing to work together.
Congratulations to the new owners on acquiring an exceptional property, congratulations to Trey Lee on a tremendous milestone, and thank you to everyone involved for making this record-setting transaction possible. On behalf of Coastal Real Estate Legacy, we’re honored to have played a role in another chapter of Cambridge’s history.
