These two Garden City Beach, sand-eating twin-ados 🌪️ were not even born when the family acquired Marlin Quay Unit 402!

Yesterdays storms prepped us for a wicked sunset yesterday evening…

Now renting for off season… it’s a perfect time to unwind, relax and catch your sunset!

August is turtle hatchling month! 🐢🥚 and one of our families most fulfilling volunteer groups, that we are privileged to be a part of, is the ‘Friends of Huntington Beach State Park’.

Tonight, we had our first nest inventory of the season. A bit early but it’s been a
H🔥T, H🔥T, H🔥T Spring/Summer!

This nest had 95 eggs total with 85 that hatched. All 85 hatchlings made it to the ocean! We have 19 additional nests to hatch including 17 loggerhead nests and 2 green turtle nests!

This little monkey was just born when we purchased our beautiful place on the beach/marina… She will be 23 in August! 🧁 Oh my, how time flies and things change.

This used to be the private pathway to the beach for those of you who weren’t lucky enough to be renting during that time. Marlin Quay Unit 402 has changed during this time too… the one constant has been OUR beautiful sunsets 🌅 and of course the cozy, relaxed vibe you get while there.

For that, for our wonderful rental family that treat the unit as if it were their own and for our soon-to-be 23, beautiful girl - We are forever grateful! ♥️
