Jim and Sherry Hannigan have been working as a team for over 2 decades, with a combined 60+ years’ experience in Real Estate. Jim became licensed agent in 1978 in Schenectady NY, where he was born and raised. They move to Virginia in 1994 and Jim forwarded his RE license in 1997, where he specialized in New Home Construction. Sherry worked as an Executive Secretary for GE in Schenectady NY and the

n later at Kaeser Compressors in Fredericksburg VA. She became a licensed agent in 2002 and also specialized in New Home Construction. In 2008, they went on to do General Real Estate for Coldwell Banker Elite in the downturn of the economy. In 2009, Jim became a Broker and opened his own independent Real Estate Company, Celtic Realty llc. He also held a Class A Residential Builders license in VA until 2022. Since moving to the Myrtle Beach area in 2021, They first worked with Century 21 Harrelson Group, but after 6 months realized they worked better on their own. So Jim opened up his Brokerage, Celtic Realty llc in Murrells Inlet. They are a Ma and Pa shop, so since they don’t have the overhead that the bigger real estate brokerages have, they can pass the savings onto to the Sellers.
