🍊 Welcome to Brian's Signature Cocktails — our new Friday series. First up: The Closing Cost, an Old Fashioned worth signing for.

RECIPE CARD — save this one:
THE CLOSING COST (Old Fashioned)
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon or Rye Wh***ey
- 1 sugar cube (or 1/2 tsp simple syrup)
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Splash of water
- Orange peel
Steps:
1. In a rocks glass, muddle the sugar, bitters, and water until dissolved.
2. Add a large ice cube, pour in the wh***ey, and stir for 20 seconds.
3. Express the oil of an orange peel over the glass and drop it in.

New cocktail every Friday. 🍸

It's soup season in the Valley! 🍂🎃 Michele's Kitchen is back with a cozy Low-Fat Pumpkin Soup — just 75 calories and 1 gram of fat per cup. Screenshot the card or hit SAVE so you've got it all fall long!

🎃 LOW-FAT PUMPKIN SOUP
75 cal • 1g fat per 1-cup serving (serves 4)

INGREDIENTS:
• 3/4 cup water, divided
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
• 2 cups unsalted vegetable broth
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 cup fat-free milk
• 1/8 tsp black pepper
• 1 green onion top, chopped

STEPS:
1. Saute onion in 1/4 cup water, 3 min
2. Add remaining water, pumpkin, broth, cinnamon, nutmeg
3. Boil, then simmer 5 min
4. Stir in milk, heat through (don't boil)
5. Ladle into bowls; top with pepper + green onion

1️⃣ Handprint Fall Leaves — Paint little palms and stamp them into fall-colored leaves on paper. A keepsake you'll love!
