Septembers Economic Update is here 📊

Markets are on the move. From Fed rate cuts to office leasing gains and a housing surge, September brought key shifts across the economy and CRE. Here’s the breakdown 👇

🔹 Fed Cuts : Interest rates lowered by 25 bps, with more cuts expected ahead
🔹 Office: Vacancy rate improved to 18.7% as Class A demand grows
🔹 Homebuilder Sentiment : Builder confidence remains weak at, but look-ahead expectations are improving; 39% of builders reported cutting prices
🔹 Apartments : On-time rent collections ticked up to 83.1% but remain below last year
🔹 CRE Deals : Transaction volume rebounded to $115B in Q2, a 3.8% increase over Q2 2024
🔹 Delinquencies : Office and multifamily defaults climbed to 11.6% and 6.86%, respectively
🔹 Retail Sales : Consumer spending up 4.8% year-over-year
🔹 Housing : The median price for new single-family homes rose 1.9% YoY to $413,000.

Q2 2025 Inland Empire Commercial Real Estate Update!

The Inland Empire continues to attract businesses and investors with its mix of accessibility, growth, and opportunity. Here’s what stood out in Q2:

Office: Demand reached record highs, with vacancy dropping to 4.9%

Industrial: Deliveries slowed, but vacancy rose to 8.2% with 60M SF added since 2023

Retail: Availability edged up slightly to 6.8%, but remains historically tight

Multifamily: Absorption outpaced supply, pushing vacancy lower at 6.7%
