Old Town Update: Shop and dine, outside!

To support Temecula businesses impacted by COVID-19, the City of Temecula is offering temporary outdoor expansion opportunities to restaurants and retail establishments to assist in their safe re-openings.

As part of this effort, beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2020, portions of Old Town Front Street (between 2nd to 4th streets) will temporarily close to vehicular traffic to allow businesses an opportunity to expand their footprint onto sidewalks and into the street for dining and shopping. The locations of the street closures are determined on business participation, and closures may last until State of California restrictions on occupancy and social distancing are lifted.

To support this program, two new parking lots in front of City Hall will open adding 90 additional free public parking spaces. Additionally, all other private and public parking lots in Old Town remain accessible to vehicles.

Is your business interested in participating? Visit TemeculaCA.gov/TED for more information and to apply. Opportunities also exist for businesses citywide to apply.
