David is a Maintenance Technician at Outlook. Outside of work,
David loves to watch and play sports and spend time with his family
and his dog.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I like spending time with my family and my little dog Benjamin. I enjoy movie nights and watching and playing basketball.

What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to, and why?
Puerto Rico. I love the waterfalls, especially Cascada de Gozalandia in San Sebastián. And I love La Frutera there for their smoothies.

What’s the most challenging thing you’ve ever done?
Trying to hit a 95-mph fastball pitch. (I never hit any.)

What’s your philosophy of life?
Work hard, honor God, honor your parents, and love people.

Do you have any general life advice you’d share with a younger person?
Work hard. Start businesses while you’re young. Learn and grow. Eat healthy. Keep God first in everything you do.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I enjoy baking and making jewelry.

What do you like to bake?

I like to bake everything from cakes and cookies to tomato pie.

How did you get into jewelry making?

A previous coworker signed the staff up for a bracelet-making class and I have been hooked ever since!

What’s your favorite travel destination so far?

My favorite place I’ve visited has been the Great Smoky Mountains. I love the hiking trails, the waterfalls, and seeing all the wildlife there.

What’s been your most challenging or scary experience?

Ziplining!

Anything on your bucket list?

Visiting Hawaii!

What’s your favorite movie?

“The Notebook” — because it’s a timeless love story.
