The McDowell family is experiencing one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Russell has experienced serious medical issues and has been in the hospital for 4 months, forcing him to close his towing business. Although he is now home, he is bedbound, he is still facing major medical issues and unable to provide for his family financially.

Nicole is a teacher at Bridgewater Academy Charter School and is left with the mounting bills, stress and caring for her two children Stryder and Callie. Nicole and Russell are huge supporters of Bridgewater Academy Charter School. Stryder is also one of Elijah's best friends!

I serve as the Chair for the Board of Directors for Bridgewater Academy and Russell joined the board this year. Through his hard work and dedication, Russell led the mass amount of facility work that we needed at the school. If it were not for Russell, I would have struggled to accomplish all of the work our wonderful little school needed. He spent countless hours coordinating and setting up these projects, to ensure our children and staff had an up to date and safe facility. We are so grateful for his dedication and support. I hope now, our community can give back to Russell and the McDowell family!
