The answer is simple: it was a natural and logical progression. I was born and raised in South Carolina. My grandfather began investing in residential and commercial real estate during the Great Depression in the 1930s in our hometown of Gaffney, SC. My dad took over the family business when my grandfather died in 1969. Even though I initially pursued a different career path, I started investing i
n real estate myself as a young adult. My career took my family to Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. Each year, family vacations brought us back to Myrtle Beach. In 2012, my wife and I decided we wanted to call Myrtle Beach our permanent home. To that end, we focused our real estate investing around the Myrtle Beach area. We owned and manage several rental properties in Myrtle Beach, including weekly vacation rentals. When considering a post-retirement second career, becoming a real estate agent was an easy and natural choice. My wife and I are both licensed REALTORS® and our mission is the help others find the perfect retirement home, vacation home, or investment property in the Myrtle Beach area. If you are interested in buying or selling a property, we deliver a top notch, expert, professional, friendly, and amazing client focused experience.
