Looking back at all the jobs I’ve had, I’m pretty sure I can handle just about anything.
I’ve taught kids guitar, worked summer camps, waited tables, cooked, cleaned houses, worked a cash register, supervised a hotel front desk, handled angry calls, planned vacations, stayed home and raised kids, worked in group sales and business development… and now I’m in real estate.
Every job taught me something different. How to work with people. How to stay calm when things go sideways. How to solve problems. How to pay attention to details. How to juggle a million things at once. How to show up and get the job done.
So maybe my career path looks a little random on paper.
But honestly? I think it all prepared me for exactly what I do now.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you never really know which skill from an old job is going to come in handy in the next one.
So yes… I’m pretty sure I can handle just about any job.

Your neighbor’s house sold in 2 days… and yours is still sitting there. 😬

I know that can be frustrating.

Especially when you start thinking, “What does their house have that mine doesn’t?”

But here’s the thing: two houses can be in the same neighborhood and have completely different results.

Price, condition, photos, how the home shows, marketing, timing, and what buyers are actually looking for all matter.

And sometimes… it really does come down to the price.

If your home has been sitting longer than you expected, it doesn’t necessarily mean you did something wrong. It just means it’s time to look at what the market is telling you and figure out what needs to change.

And yes, I’ll actually tell you what I think — even if it’s not what you want to hear. 😉

Not every day in real estate is a closing day.
Sometimes it’s 100 mailers for one phone call, weeks of showings that end with “we’re going to wait,” an offer that doesn’t get accepted, or a lender accidentally canceling a loan application.
And sometimes… you just have to go to the bank three times.
These are the things that usually don’t make it to Instagram, but they’re very much part of the job.
The wins are great, but the flops are what keep you humble.

A little late to the posting game, but for good reason!

The past few weeks have been BUSY in the best way. I’ve had the pleasure of helping two buyers find their next place and one seller get their property under contract and SOLD.

Between the last few weeks of summer break, squeezing in all the summer fun, and getting the kids ready for another school year, life has been moving FAST.

I may have been a little quiet on here, but I’ve definitely been busy behind the scenes.

Feeling very grateful for my clients, the referrals, and everyone who continues to trust me with their real estate needs.

Now… back to regular programming.

I was out of state… or was I? 😂
A quick little family trip to Carowinds before the girls head back to school. Just a few hours away, but enough time for roller coasters, water park, lots of laughs, and one last summer adventure together.
Now back to reality… and school drop-offs next week!
