I am a 2000 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Financial Management and am originally from Walhalla, South Carolina. Prior to selling real estate, I was a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. I currently live in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina with my husband and son. Since joining the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS, I have been a member of the Professional Development committee and volunteered with several Community Outreach events, including the beach sweep at Garden City Beach. Currently, I am the Chair of Leadership CCAR and was the co-chair of Leadership CCAR in 2025. In 2026, I was elected to a 3-year term as a Director on the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS MLS Board. Outside of work, I volunteer with our son’s school and our church, Belin Memorial United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet. Labor Day seems to be the unofficial start to Fall.

While the temperature does not change much in Murrells Inlet once Labor Day comes and goes, the fall events in Murrells Inlet are starting (just don’t wear your sweater and ankle boots just yet!).

GARDEN CITY STREETSCAPE PROJECT BEGINS SEPT. 8

A safer, more resilient Garden City is on the way!

Construction on the Garden City Streetscape Project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 8. Crews will start near the Georgetown County line, near Cedar Ave, and move north along South Waccamaw Drive.

Lane closures will be in place as crews begin underground utility and drainage work. Please use caution, follow posted detours and traffic signs, and watch for active work zones.

Phase 1 will extend along Waccamaw Drive to Magnolia Avenue and along Atlantic Avenue to the marsh.

Horry County leaders will gather on Tuesday, Sept. 29, for an official groundbreaking ceremony. More details will be shared here soon.

Bally Castle is located in the International Club in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

Bally Castle is being built by Mungo Homes. This neighborhood is a great opportunity for new construction if you are looking for a townhome.
