Why do you need a FAA Licensed Drone Pilot for your Real Estate / Business Photography?

This is the Regency Tower in Myrtle Beach. It is minutes away from the Myrtle Beach Airport. I recently took photos for a listing there. To do so, I had to coordinate with the FAA to navigate their controlled airspace. In a lot of areas, drones are allowed to climb up to 400 feet above ground level. In this particular area, without FAA approval, drones are not allowed to fly at all. If the Realtor brought up their own drone, or contacted someone without a license, due to drones having remote ID's, there likely would have been a legal issue. With Gibson Drone Services, I was able to show up, take lots of photos, and have a quick turnaround time to get the photos in the Realtors hands.
